Google Chrome is a the market leading web browser from the search giant. It runs as a modern looking browser with extensions that can be added to extend its functionality. Google patched the software when bugs or security holes are found so it is one of the most updated packages. Google does use the software to track actions taken by the user which is then associated with their account. Therefore web pages visited will directly impact what adverts their AdWords and AdSense adverting networks display which can be annoying and feel invasive. The software also opens a new memory allocation for every tab opened which when more than a few tab are left open can drain huge RAM memory and slow down a whole system. For the 30-40 tabs that Chrome can handle, Firefox can handle 200 with zero problems on the same installed.
